PV-100 Proportional Valve

PV-100 is a closed loop electronic pressure regulator consisting of 2 solenoid valves, one internal pressure transducer, and a unique PID-simulated electronic control circuit.

The output pressure is proportional to the input electrical signal (command signal). Modulation can be achieved via different levels of activation on solenoid valves by PWM.

One valve acts as inlet control, and the other valve acts as exhaust. The internal pressure transducer provides the electronic control circuit with a feedback signal, which is compared against the input command signal. Differences between the feedback signal and the command signal causes one of the solenoid valves to open to adjust the pilot pressure. As the pilot pressure is adjusted, the desired output pressure is reached and maintained. Since it is the desired work pressure that is being measured and fed back to the electronic control circuit, any mechanical hysteresis of air pilot pressure is automatically compensated. This feature allows high accuracy and excellent repeatability.

PV-100 provides selection of 0-10 VDC or 4-20 mA input signal. It also provides RS485 output interface for panel display or controller used for data collection and signal monitoring.
